Volunteer Opportunities
If you are thinking of a career in museums or are available to contribute your skills and energy to a worthwhile project, you may want to consider becoming a volunteer at the Buxton Museum and working with our dynamic team. We offer many opportunities in a variety of departments as well as training and benefits. If you are currently in high school, the Buxton Museum is a great place to complete your community service requirements.

A small sampling of activities you can participate in:
- Assist with school groups or special youth event programs
- Assist with operating the Gift Shop
- Assist with preservation of artifacts and housekeeping on the museum grounds
- Assist with office duties (folding pamphlets, packaging educational kits, etc.)
