The Cooper Family

Allen Cooper came from Beaver County Ohio in 1829. It is possible that Allen went to the Wilberforce Settlement in Lucan, as it was established in 1829, and started by people from Cincinnati, Ohio. The Cooper family arrived in the Buxton Settlement in the year 1851. Upon their arrival in the settlement the family consisted of Allen Cooper, his wife Mary, and their thirteen children. When the family settled in the settlement, they lived on the seventh concession.
