The Many Roads To Buxton is a DVD that chronicles the founding of the Buxton Settlement as a refuge for fugitive slaves in 1849. This historic Black community flourished and became a self sufficient community of 1200 to 2000 persons prior to the civil war. Now known as Buxton the settlement is one of the few remaining Black Canaidan Settlements still in existence.
